Smocking Birds
Smocking Birds is a one of a kind baby boutique featuring an array of products to keep your baby cute and classy. Much of the children’s attire sold in the store is hand smocked dresses and daygowns, by the owner. Her creativity doesn’t just stop at making baby clothes though, she also makes other unique children’s gifts and brings in additional local talent to exhibit their expertise. Along with clothes and accessories, no children’s store is complete without a plethora of books!
Striving to be more than just a shop, we will be having special events and classes of sorts. Seasonally, we will have classes for you to learn the technique behind the versatile and decorative form of embroidery, called smocking. (Just like your grandma did!) Dedicated to bringing the love of reading to your children, we will have a story time for your children followed by hands- on activities. In addition, we will be inviting featured authors to the shop for the whole family to meet and get signed copies of your favorite books.
